Healthcare Data Analyst

You will:

• Import and interpret source data
• Scrub, clean and validate data
• Prepare input files for third-party data processing
• Analyze the data results and make changes if needed, before presenting the data to project managers and internal consultants
• Perform ad hoc SQL / SQL script programming and analysis
• Codify existing algorithms for risk-scoring and predictive analysts
• Develop custom reports
• Review work product to validate quality results
• Document and participate in peer reviews of all work product
• Provide support and subject matter expertise for other database users
• Participate in team problem-solving

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or related degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 2+ years of experience working with health insurance claims data
• 2+ years of experience in SQL
• 2+ years of experience in Python and R desired
• Able to interpret, scrub, process, and explain data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Proficiency with either Tableau or Power BI
