Terry Health Industry Survey Report: 2023 Perspectives on Value-Based Care

The shift to value-based care (VBC) is creating new challenges and opportunities for healthcare system participants. To better understand the rapidly evolving VBC landscape, Terry Health surveyed over 400 providers, payers, and hybrid “pay-viders.” The survey paid particular attention to identifying areas in which the VBC experience of different types of healthcare organizations is aligned or at odds.
The survey report, 2023 Perspectives on Value-Based Care, gives ample reasons for both hope and concern about the future of VBC. The good news is that most respondents believe that VBC has the potential to deliver better health outcomes at a more affordable cost. The bad news is that the survey also reveals that there are significant obstacles to realizing VBC’s full potential.
