Mr. Inglis is an expert in retirement and pension strategy, design, investing and public policy. He is a thought leader on how pension assets and liabilities together influence pension promises and underlying government guarantees.
Mr. Inglis is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr. Inglis has served on the board of directors of the Society of Actuaries and, among his many volunteer roles, chaired the seminal Pension Finance Task Force – jointly sponsored by the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries to increase the understanding and awareness of principles of finance and economics in the U.S. pension actuarial profession. Mr. Inglis also advises various international governments and NGOs on pension system design and financing.
Prior to joining The Terry Group, Mr. Inglis served as a consultant in the investment management and actuarial consulting industries. Most recently, Mr. Inglis served as Chief Policy Actuary at the PBGC.
