Jerry Mingione
Capital Markets and Financial Management

Jerry is an experienced actuary and consultant focused on capital markets and financial management issues. He is currently partnering with the Terry Group to develop an array of financial tools and products to support client organizations in the financial management of their long-term commitments. In his previous role he created and led the Retirement Financial Management unit at Willis Towers Watson, where he was responsible for the development of tools and processes to assist companies in managing the financial aspects of their retirement programs, such as forecast and discount rate models and benchmarking databases.

Jerry has been a frequent presenter on investment and capital market issues, speaking before a range of industry groups including the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, American Academy of Actuaries, Society of Actuaries, Conference Board, Institutional Investor Institute and the Institute for International Research.

He has served as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries’ Pension and Social Security Committees, and as a board member for both the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and the Academy. He has testified on investment policy issues before the Department of Labor’s ERISA Advisory Council and served on a number of project oversight groups for the Society of Actuaries.

Jerry is a fully credentialed actuary and also holds the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst designation. He graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School.
