Fan is a trained internal medicine physician and healthcare consultant. She has over twelve years of extensive experience helping healthcare organizations in a variety of areas, including payer-provider collaboration, value-based care transition, performance and process improvement, clinical integration and transformation, quality improvement, and provider and payer strategy. Fan also brings expertise in operational planning and design, managed care and medical cost analysis, and contract analysis, as well as outstanding people skills. She has worked with a variety of healthcare providers and payers including major managed care organizations, academic medical centers, community hospitals, and physician groups throughout the United States and China.

Prior to joining the Terry Group, Fan served as a manager at HealthScape Advisors on payer-provider collaboration and value-based payment model design. In her consulting roles previous to that, Fan led multi-disciplinary initiatives for healthcare companies, creating and implementing innovative healthcare delivery strategies to reduce healthcare costs while improving quality.

Fan’s background in medicine, hospital management, and managed care, combined with her extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry on both the provider and the payer side, all contribute to the value she brings to healthcare organizations to enhance the transition to value-based care.

Fan holds Master of Health Administration and MBA degrees from the University of Iowa. She is licensed as an MD in China.
